FAQ

Questions before you begin.

Can you represent us before we open a Moroccan entity?

We can assess a local business-representation mandate during an exploratory phase. The appropriate setup depends on your activity, actual local operations, tax position and applicable requirements; representation does not automatically remove incorporation or licensing obligations.

Can you act as our local CNDP representative?

Yes, where applicable and after reviewing your processing activities. The role is agreed in a dedicated mandate setting out responsibilities, cooperation and continuing compliance.

Can we engage NLZ on a monthly basis?

Yes. A recurring country-desk or management mandate specifies the scope, availability, meetings and reporting included. Additional professional work is scoped separately.

Do we need to create a Moroccan company first?

The appropriate sequence depends on your activity and operating model. An assessment helps identify which decisions and requirements should be addressed before committing to a local structure.

Can you help if our launch is already delayed?

A focused diagnostic can identify unresolved dependencies, clarify responsibilities and establish a revised action plan. Implementation support can then be scoped around the findings.

Can you work alongside our legal and tax advisers?

Yes. NLZ can coordinate business and implementation workstreams alongside appointed advisers, with clear responsibilities for each party.

Do you provide legal or tax opinions?

NLZ provides business advisory and project coordination. Formal legal and tax opinions are provided by appropriately qualified specialists.

Can you guarantee a licence, bank account or partnership?

No. Outcomes depend on authorities and counterparties. Our role is to clarify requirements, prepare the project and coordinate steps within our mandate.

How are engagements priced?

A proposal is based on scope, deliverables and specialist input. Engagements can be structured as a defined project or an ongoing advisory mandate.
